Our set of counting boards are sure to be an exciting and stylish toolset to make learning to count fun! These boards are made from maple and cherry, maple being used for odd numbers while cherry represents even numbers. The alternating wood species between the boards is certainly appealing visually, but the primary reason we chose this design was implemented to help young mathematicians differentiate odd and even numbers with a visual divide. The boards also gradually increase in size as the numbers get larger to promote a further understanding of the order of numbers.
This set of counting boards includes numbers one through ten, a stunning solid walnut base for storage, some pom-poms to start counting right away (although we recommend finding many small items to use for counting!)
